Indigo and madder vat taps feed a floor collector and gutter continuing into a stone channel, crossed by a railed plank walk with supported steps; the raised sluice precedes the crossing and the lint grate and spill apron discharge away from the hall. Short indigo and rose cloth folds hang from a low, footed and braced drying rack in the left bay, and the side door stands folded back.
